The London run, and what a ticket actually buys
Pride
In the summer of 1984 a group of lesbian and gay activists in London started collecting money for striking miners, and then had trouble finding a pit community that would take it. The group was Lesbians and Gays Support the Miners, and the community that said yes was in the Dulais Valley in south Wales.

Stephen Beresford wrote that story as the 2014 film Pride, which Matthew Warchus directed. Now they have made it a musical: Beresford wrote the book and lyrics, Warchus directs, and it played sold-out runs at the Sherman Theatre in Cardiff and at the National Theatre before arriving at the Bridge.
It begins at the Bridge Theatre on 12 November 2026, and the theatre's calendar runs to 8 May 2027. Below is the run, and how to book it.
