Musicals in Dubai

Dubai takes its touring musicals between October and April, when the evenings are worth walking to. The 2026 season leads with Chicago at Coca-Cola Arena.

One room takes the touring musicals here, and it is not a theatre. Coca-Cola Arena in City Walk seats seventeen thousand under a single roof, the only indoor arena of that size in the region, and a show written for a Broadway house a tenth as big has to be re-lit and re-amplified before it can play in it.

That is why a Dubai run is short and why it is an event rather than a season: five days in December 2026 for Chicago, eight performances, and then the set goes back in the containers.
